GMail
- GMail does not natively support HTML Signatures, for this we need to install a userscript.
- You should see a new box underneath your folders called HTML Signatures.
- Click New Signature to add a new HTML Signature.
- Paste your HTML Signature into the large text field and save it.
- To insert your signature into a new message, simply click on it’s name.
Yahoo! Mail
- Select Mail Options from Options.
- Navigate to Signature.
- Select Show a signature on all outgoing messages.
- Select Rich Text and paste your HTML Signature in the text field.
Gmail, Windows Live Hotmail, AOL or Yahoo! mail – using a free tool called Wisestamp
- Navigate to Signature.
- Install WiseStamp email signature for Chrome, Firefox or Thunderbird..
- Open the WiseStamp editor and click the ‘html’ button
- Paste your HTML Signature code and click ‘Update’ and ‘OK’ to save
Windows Live Hotmail
- Select More Options from Options.
- Click on Personal e-mail Signature.
- Use the drop-down which by default shows Rich Text and select Edit in HTML.
- Paste your HTML Signature in the text field and Save it.
AOL Webmail
- Navigate to your Settings.
- Select Compose from the left sidebar.
- Select Use Signature from the drop-down box.
- Paste your HTML Signature in the text field and Save.
Windows Mail (Outlook Express)
- Run notepad and paste your signature. Save the file as signature.html anywhere you wish.
- From the menu, go to Tools > Options….
- Navigate to the Signatures tab.
- Under Edit Signature, Select File and select the file signature.html that we just made, and you’re done!
Outlook 2003
- Browse to Tools > Options through the menu.
- Select the Mail Format tab. Ensure that your Mail Format is set to HTML by using the drop-down box.
- Click the Signatures.. button.
- Select New.., followed by Advanced Edit.. and paste your HTML signature.
- Save it.
Outlook 2007
- Outlook 2007 doesn’t support HTML Signatures, so we’ll have to work around it.
- Run notepad and paste your signature. Save the file as signature.html anywhere you wish.
- Double-click on the file you just saved to open it in your broswer.
- Use Ctrl+A to select all the contents of your signature and Ctrl+C to copy it to your clipboard.
- Browse to Tools > Options through the menu.
- Select the Mail Format tab. Ensure that your Mail Format is set to HTML by using the drop-down box.
- Click the Signatures.. button.
- Select New.. and name your new signature.
- In the text field, use Ctrl+V to paste your signature, and you’re done!
Microsoft Entourage
- Entourage doesn’t support HTML signatures by default, however Message Template X is a free Entourage script allows you to have HTML signature functionality.
Apple Mail
- Run a text editor and paste your signature. Save the file as signature.html anywhere you wish.
- Double-click on the file you just saved to open it in your broswer.
- Use Ctrl+A to select all the contents of your signature and Ctrl+C to copy it to your clipboard.
- Go to Mail > Preferences, then click the Signatures tab.
- Click the Add Signature button; a text area will slide open.
- In the text field, use Ctrl+V to paste your signature, and you’re done!
MobileMe
- We’re sorry, but MobileMe doesn’t support HTML signatures.
- You could try sending feedback to Apple, requesting support for HTML signatures.
Eudora
- Select Tools > Signatures.. from the menu.
- Right-click anywhere inside the signature window and select New.. from the context menu.
- Enter the name of the new signature.
- Run the following: “%appdata%\Qualcomm\Eudora\Sigs\” (without quotes).
- Open the file having the same name as your signature in notepad and paste the HTML Signature.
- Save and you’re done!
Thunderbird
- Run a text editor (notepad, if you’re on Windows) and paste your signature. Save the file as signature.htmlanywhere you wish.
- From the menu, go to Tools > Account Settings.
- Select the account you wish to add the signature to from the left pane.
- Tick Attach this signature and choose the file, signature.html you just saved, and press OK.
iPhone Mail
- We’re sorry, but iPhone OS’s Mail application doesn’t support HTML signatures.
- You could try sending feedback to Apple, requesting support for HTML signatures.
Lotus Notes
- Run a text editor (notepad, if you’re on Windows) and paste your signature. Save the file as signature.htmlanywhere you wish.
- From the Inbox, click Tools > Preferences.
- Navigate to the Signature tab.
- Click HTML, and close the file, signature.html you just saved, and you’re done!
